Division Director/National Sales Manager

The (DDNSM) will be responsible for the sales of class 4 laser units, class 3 laser units, radial shockwave units, electrotherapy and ultrasound units. This position includes responsibility for the sales force and the distributors that will sell our clients products. The incumbent will organize and attend medical conferences and territory seminars where our clients products are to be marketed and sold. The incumbent will report to the CEO of the organization and the incumbent will develop marketing and sales plans and will develop marketing tools and materials that is required to promote our client’s products and services. Other responsibilities include: developing strong partnerships with key influencers and customers and to initiate joint marketing opportunities as well as will hire, manage and train the sales force and distributors as well as manage those relationships, will coordinate and participate at conferences and will attend to make sure the organization’s products and services are properly displayed and marketed to attendees, will organize and coordinate territory seminars, develop annual sales budgets and monitor the sales expense budget.

Qualifications include five or more years of experience with an establishes track record in selling products or services to veterinary doctors, experience successfully managing a sales force, demonstrated business skills related to budgeting, training, hiring and writing, has successfully worked in a small company environment, demonstrated leadership, communication and listening skills, demonstrated skill in working successfully as a team member with a diverse group of people, capable of establishing and meeting goals and objectives for the sales force and distributors. Willing to travel 50%.

Area Sales Manager – East / Northeast

Area Sales Manager (ASM). (Mid-Atlantic or New England)-The ASM plays an important role in the overall sustained growth of the company and will supervise 6-8 individuals. The ASM is the supervisor, trainer, manager, coach, leader and administrator and is responsible for customer retention and customer satisfaction. Senior Vice President – Animal Health Services

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership to Animal Health Services teams and to provide guidance on strategic development and alignment with the long-range goals of our client’s organization. The incumbent will provide organizational leadership in the area of animal health and welfare. Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, preferred board-certification, MBA or extensive business and leadership training, minimum of 7 years as a leader in an animal welfare/health organization, experience in marketing and corporate relations , solid knowledge of the animal welfare/health industry, ability to develop business strategies in line with the organization’s goals, must bridge diverse areas of expertise: medicine/surgery, toxicology, behavior, research, business strategy and marketing. Leadership and staff development skills are key, experience working with unions is helpful.

Territory Account Manager – multiple locations

Territory Account Manager opportunities in multiple regions.  TAM will generate sales by calling on existing customers, sales leads and potential animal health or research opportunities in assigned region and to provide ongoing customer education and support. The incumbent will develop and maintain a complete understanding of our clients products and services. The incumbent will travel extensively during the day and overnight travel will be approximately 2-4 nights per month. The incumbent will generate new business and business leads and will provide ongoing customer support including supporting customers with product or technical calls.

Qualifications include  being a licensed veterinary technician or possess at minimum a Bachelors Degree, with a science or business emphasis preferred.  Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales is preferred, preferably medical, scientific, or in the healthcare field (experience selling to veterinarians a plus).   Good oral and written skills. Good active listening ability. Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets. Valid DL, clean driving record, auto insurance. Ability to travel and ability to lift 60 pounds.

Key duties include

• Responsible for maintaining high readership scores and website traffic by implementing quality content across both the print and digital formats; responsible for communicating readership trends and data to editor weekly

• Contribute to editorial strategy; implement plans formulated by editorial team

• Strategically develop content ideas for website with editorial team and assign content to be executed by online editor; content should be complimentary to print journal but attractive to online audience

• Execute imposition for each issue; secure approvals of sales and president; approve final pages/ads

• Execute production of books and supplements, including editing, with use of freelance help as required

• Work with designers to complete layout of each issue/project; ensure adequate supply of illustrative matter–photos, illustrations, etc

• Conduct regular audience studies to determine value of existing content/formats

• Maintain useful, expert, responsive review board; communicate regularly with members

• Direct and implement system of timely review and resolution of review comments; ensure review system is adequate for maintaining credibility and accuracy

• Mentor, oversee, and develop editorial assistant and ensure cross training to provide needed back-up

• Work closely with online editor to coordinate efforts; direct and determine online content and design; produce at least 1 item for online use per week

• Stay abreast of trends, developments, and demands of veterinary practice

• Review all articles upon submission, revision and at layout stages to ensure accuracy
