<p>The Veterinary Sales Representative (VSR)will engage veterinary customers in all sales related activities within a specific territory and will create relationships with customers through knowledgeable interactions, business discussions and educational interactions. The VSR will acquire new business in existing customer base and acquire new customers leading to an overall increase in the territory revenue.  The VSR will help build customer loyalty through the effective use of our client’s products and services. The selling focus will be on a customer centric approach to help practices grow their revenue with our client as a valued partner.</p>
<p>Qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in a Scientific or related discipline preferred; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Scientific or advanced studies a plus. Relevant field sales experience required with manufacturer sales preferred. Scientific medical and/or technical background, training and/or experience a plus. The role will have direct Brand P&amp;L Management responsibility including forecasting of revenue targets and the management of advertising and promotional budgets. This role will manage the coordination of market research advertising and consumer and trade public relations. The Marketing Manager will work through the US sales and support teams to manage brand strategies to achieve revenue targets. The Manager will monitor and control sales forecasts and expense budgets. The incumbent will identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders to ensure that effective working relationships are in place.</p>
<p>Qualifications include 5+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrable success. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other marketing discipline (MBA is preferred). Direct to Consumer pharmaceutical experience with a proven track record of success.  Understanding science-based marketing, customer needs and the marketing process. <p>Qualifications include knowledge and experience in the veterinary biologics industry with exposure to USDA-licensed diagnostics. The successful candidate will be an accomplished sales leader with a proven track record of achieving sales growth and profitability as well as someone who is able to lead sales negotiations. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business is preferred and a DVM or advanced Veterinary Science and/or MBA is desirable.
