The incumbent will develop and maintain a complete understanding of our clients products and services. The incumbent will travel extensively during the day and overnight travel will be approximately 4-8 nights per month. The incumbent will generate new business and business leads and will provide ongoing customer support including supporting customers with product or technical calls.

Qualifications include Minimum of an Associates Degree (Bachelors Degree preferred) preferable with a science or business emphasis. Outside sales experience preferably selling to veterinarians. A veterinary technician background would be of interest as well. Good oral and written skills. Good active listening ability. Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets. Valid DL, clean driving record, auto insurance. Ability to travel and ability to lift 60 pounds.

(Mid-Atlantic or New England)-The ASM plays an important role in the overall sustained growth of the company and will supervise 6-8 individuals. The ASM is the supervisor, trainer, manager, coach, leader and administrator and is responsible for customer retention and customer satisfaction. The ASM will work along the veterinary sales reps in the field three days per week. The ASM is responsible for operating under the Sales Budget which will be determined annually and reviewed monthly. The ASM is responsible for meeting revenue goals and accurately forecasting sales by region. The ASM will understand the marketplace, the competitor and all of the organization’s products.

    Qualifications include 3-5 years of Commercial Lab experience along with 1-2 Years of Sales Management experience.
