Our client has an immediate need for a Veterinary Regional Account Manager in multiple regions to generate sales by calling on existing customers, sales leads and potential animal health or research opportunities in assigned region and to provide ongoing customer education and support. The incumbent will develop and maintain a complete understanding of our clients products and services. The incumbent will travel extensively during the day and overnight travel will be approximately 4-8 nights per month. The incumbent will generate new business and business leads and will provide ongoing customer support including supporting customers with product or technical calls.
Qualifications include Minimum of an Associates Degree (Bachelors Degree preferred) preferable with a science or business emphasis. Outside sales experience preferably selling to veterinarians. A veterinary technician background would be of interest as well. Good oral and written skills. Good active listening ability. Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets. Valid DL, clean driving record, auto insurance. Ability to travel and ability to lift 60 pounds.

Sr Director / Director – Business Development

Our client is seeking an experienced business development leader to manage and support all business development aspects of a fast growing Animal Health company. Primary responsibilities include: API sourcing, business partner identification, partner selection and deal execution.
The incumbent will develop/build/foster relationships with third parties and leverage those relationships to identify potential partners for API, finished dose formulation/development and finished dose manufacturing. He/She will conduct diligence to select partners, negotiate business terms and manage contracts to execution. The incumbent will analyze API needs and optimize API supply base by achieving the right combination of quality, speed, reliability and cost and will assist the VP of Strategic Portfolio Planning in financial modeling, specifically understanding key assumptions including upsides and risks. Manager – Non-Clinical Studies

Director Regulatory Affairs

Our client is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs professional to be responsible for the compilation and submission to CVM of generic animal drug applications with focus on high quality and meeting timelines. The Director will work closely with Product Development and serve as a regulatory liaison to communicate submission requirements to worldwide development and manufacturing partners. The Director will proactively interact with CVM to determine applicable regulatory requirements and will predict possible application deficiencies to enable resolution prior to submission.

He/she will support the Customer Development Team by attending national meetings and customer sales presentations to sell the science based products that our client offers and will be the medical spokesperson for the company. The Manager will provide medical and scientific support to Consumer Affairs and will provide Public Relations support for advertising, web, veterinary liaison and veterinary outreach.
Qualifications include a DVM with 3-5 years of veterinary practice experience. A PhD is a plus as well as someone who is a trail-blazer and champion of identifying new technologies and technology improvements. Will need to have mastery at handling complex tasks & projects as well as multiple projects concurrently and will apply knowledge of technical and medical fields within category teams and peers. The incumbent will aggressively seek new technology and IP protection and will stay abreast of new developments and opportunities. Will need to represent the company via the media, web, conferences and veterinary outreach and will need to be an excellent technical writer and have a track record of publishing in peer reviewed scientific journals. Will need the abiilty to design protocols for clinical trials whereby the outcome will support product claims.

The Director of Research and Development will have responsibility for strategy, support and execution of development plans and clinical studies and for regulatory liaison on behalf of sponsors. Will provide input into cost estimation and proposals for GCP and GLP studies. Will train staff in clinical and non-clinical study processes and documentation including GCP/GLP and regulatory requirements. Will provide oversight of staff conducting GCP studies including clinical research coordinators, quality assurance/quality control personnel and data entry personnel to assure the highest quality outcome. Will build trust and maintain credibility, at times under significant pressure, with competing priorities and multiple client relationships. Will have the ability to establish and manage relationships with management, staff and clients. Will support he team and individual development, provide project execution that encourages repeat business from existing clients. Will serve as an ambassador for helping to generate new business and new business leads.
Qualifications include an advanced degree (DVM, VMD or PhD), strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a collaborative culture, ability and desire to mentor colleagues, demonstrated ability to multi-task, computer literacy with MS Office products and project management tools. A minimum of 10 years experience in animal health product development. Known within the animal health industry for high work standards, ethics, personal integrity and a focus on high quality outcomes, experience working directly with regulatory agencies including face-to-face meetings and contributing to regulatory dossiers, experience in drafting full development plans, clinical protocols and study reports. Hands-on experience conducting clinical studies, proven ability to gain trust, lead, collaborate, negotiate and influence, experience in management of personnel in a matrix environment.
