Communicates current regulatory requirements to project teams as well as middle and upper management. Maintains a current knowledge of regulatory requirements by publications, as well as by participating in the working groups of trade associations such as the Animal Health Institute. Responsible for assuring the projects assigned are carried out in full compliance with government regulations. Maintains knowledge and skills in electronic submissions to CVM-FDA. Handles several continuing projects simultaneously; has a direct impact on regulatory agency decisions as to whether products may be legally marketed. Responsible for assuring that the regulatory aspects are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Assists activities of regulatory affairs representative assigned to maintenance projects when required.</p>
<p><span>Qualifications include a BS in related science area with 12+ years relevant experience, MS in related science area with 10+ years relevant experience or preferable DVM with 6+ years relevant experience or PhD in related area with 6+ years relevant experience. Must have thorough knowledge of applicable federal regulations with extensive experience interacting with DVM-FDA, as well as an understanding of FDA procedures and policies. Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, expert skill level with handling of electronic documents (e.g., Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat), presentation software (e.g, PowerPoint) and project <span>timelines</span> (e.g., Microsoft Project), and an aptitude to learn new systems. Must work well in cross-functional teams that exist in the product development matrix structure. Just possess good supervisory skills in coordinating large regulatory projects and working with members of the regulatory affairs staff. Willing to travel to US and international locations.</span></p>

The incumbent will travel extensively during the day and overnight travel will be approximately 4-8 nights per month. The incumbent will generate new business and business leads and will provide ongoing customer support including supporting customers with product or technical calls.</p>
<p>Qualifications include Minimum of an Associates Degree (Bachelors Degree preferred) preferable with a science or business emphasis. Outside sales experience preferably selling to veterinarians. A veterinary technician background would be of interest as well. Good oral and written skills. Good active listening ability. Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets. Valid DL, clean driving record, auto insurance. Ability to travel and ability to lift 60 pounds.</p>

<p>Duties and responsibilities</p>
<p> </p>
<p>1. Complies with DOT and OSHA health, safety and environmental requirements and follows safety philosophy and procedures developed by the Company including; applicable environmental, health sand safety rules, procedures and accepted safe work practices; the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems; and the reporting of workplace hazards and injury or illness arising from workplace activities and observes the workplace to identify conditions or behaviors that should be corrected and takes appropriate action.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>2. Implements or supervises the creation of engineering designs and drawings and prepares specifications for electrical power systems (related to power substations, bus ducts, switchgears, capacitor banks, high voltage distribution systems, power generation equipment, power transfer switching equipment and motor control centers) and for components related to electrical power systems used in the construction of new pipeline facilities or the maintenance or upgrading of existing facilities.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>3. Manages electrical power system installation and maintenance projects from initiation through closure including, but not limited to, the preparation of project scope of work and cost estimates, preparing Authorization For Expenditures for projects, the development of project schedules and bid packets, the purchase of materials, coordination of installation and inspection activities, reporting project status updates, monitoring budgets and timelines, managing change controls, start-up, prepare as-built data, implement personnel training and completion of post project reviews.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>4. Provides field supervision or makes arrangement for field supervision of contractors who are installing new equipment; making medications to existing electrical power equipment; or performing maintenances to electrical power systems to achieve project deliverables.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>5. Oversees the process of updating existing protective relays settings or programming used in electrical power systems and maintaining a record of these relay settings or programming.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>6. Provides technical advice to company personnel on the operation, testing and maintenance including malfunctions and failures of electrical power systems and prepares and updates safety and operation procedures for electrical power systems.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>7. Manages the development of process mapping and updating existing process maps and the preparation of operations and safety procedures based upon the process maps related to electrical power systems.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>8. Prepares recommendation for annual expense budget, annual capital budgets and department budgets and prepared project write-ups with estimated costs and schedule in support of these recommendations to be submitted to management.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Qualifications include a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years experience in the implementation of electrical and power component designs for new construction and maintenance projects; the integration of the designs into the overall project plans; and the administration of construction and maintenance contracts within the pipeline industry is required. Specialized education, which provides additional knowledge in the design and operation of high voltage power systems and induction motors; and Professional engineer license (PE) through the National Society of Professional Engineers is preferred. The successful candidate will have knowledge of high and medium voltage electrical systems and have the ability to utilize computer hardware and software such as SKM Power System and GE Multilin Relay Software to manage, record and evaluate company information.</p>

<p>4.The incumbent will provide technical oversight and coordination of project engineering work; through project coordination meetings and other means, monitors progress against project schedules and budgets; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals.</p>
<p>5. The manager will perform risk assessments for projects and manage control of projects using various scalable strategies including Gating.</p>
<p>6. Reviews concepts for business development and project estimates; prepares engineering studies and cost estimates for labor, materials, and time to complete for new construction projects; reviews estimates created by others and provides value added suggestions.</p>
<p>7. Defines annual objectives for project engineering and develops plans to achieve the goals including the financial and manpower requirements. Develops programs and procedures to meet the objectives.</p>
<p>8. Evaluates the performance of the project engineering functions in accomplishing their objectives; prepares and delivers reports reflecting specific departmental activities; and initiates corrective action to resolve undesirable variances in performance.</p>
<p>9. Compiles information to estimate the capital and maintenance project expenses, and related departmental expenses for the production of the budgets. Compares variances in actual expenses from budgeted expenses and initiates corrective action to resolve undesirable variances in expenses.</p>
<p>10. Creates and supervises the creation of engineering designs, drawings and specifications for use in the construction of new pipeline facilities or the maintenance or upgrading of existing facilities, develops bid packages, bidder lists, and estimates of expected costs, evaluates bids and recommends successful bidder or negotiates contracts with vendors for equipment, equipments medications and services. 11. Revise and recommends pipeline system operation limits for pipelines, pump stations, meter stations, tank farm and other facilities.</p>

<p>12. Reviews and approves vendor invoices, work orders, time sheets, and expense accounts and resolves service or billing problems.</p>
<p>13. Conducts engineering process and equipment studies and analyses of project economics and makes recommendations to improve project results, reduce project expenses or change or modify equipment.</p>
<p>14. Develops budgets and administers the annual program for maintenance of pipeline pumps. 16. Reviews and updates construction and equipment specifications, Maintains records reflecting construction and operations statistics on pumping equipment,</p>
<p>15, Performs emergency preparedness and response duties as defined in the Emergency Response Plan and written procedures for our client. Duties include executing appropriate procedures to ensure a prompt and effective response to various types of pipeline emergencies, establishing liaison with emergency responders and public officials and periodically performing and participating in exercises to ensure that emergency response procedures and training are effective.</p>
<p>Qualifications include a Bachelors&#8217; degree in mechanical or civil engineering and a minimum of 10 years of progressive pipeline project engineering experience, a broad knowledge of pipeline and facilities design, construction, testing, operation and maintenance, and a proven history of project management on pipeline projects id required; an understanding of controlling regulations, an advanced degree in engineering, engineering management or MBA and a Professional Engineer license (PE) is preferred. The successful candidate must have the ability to actively engage in safe behaviors and to understand and follow the principles and methods related to pipeline and workplace safety as establishes by the Company. Must have knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, policies, documentation procedures, equipment operation parameters and all applicable DOT, FERC, EPA, DHS and OSHA requirements. The position requires the ability to utilize computer hardware and a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project and Virtual Pipeline System for Hydraulic modeling) software to manage, record and evaluate company information. Candidates must have knowledge of project management tools and techniques and have familiarity with PMI methodology. Candidates must have knowledge of risk management principles and techniques to prioritize potential risks, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and identify alternative solutions, recovery plans and contingencies have have knowledge of principles and methods for planning, monitoring, tracking and managing the people, time, budget and quality of work on project(s). Must have ability to plan, organize and direct an effective project engineering program and have demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Other qualifications include some manual dexterity skills in the operation of Micrometers, vibration detectors, dial depth gauges, pit gauges and ammeters. <p>17. Investigates new technology to assist in more efficient problem-solving solutions.</p>

<p>Qualifications include a B.S. degree in mechanical, civil, or petroleum engineering is required. Three to five years of prior construction engineering experience is required with a minimum of two years occurring within the pipeline industry. The successful candidate should have pump and pump maintenance experience. The incumbent should have the ability to actively engage in safe behavior and understand and follow the principles and methods related to pipeline and workplace safety as establishes by the Company. Frequent external contacts are required with vendors, contract engineers, contract inspectors, property owners, government officials, railroad representatives and third parties to coordinate construction project work. Ability to effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and vendors. Ability to follow corporate policies and the directions of supervisors.</p>
