Chief Executive Officer – #8552

We are searching for a CEO for a growing Animal Health biotechnology company.

The CEO is responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving operational excellence, and insuring the company’s long-term success in the animal health biotechnology sector. The CEO will work with the Board of Directors to set and execute the company’s vision, oversee financial performance and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. This requires a leader with deep industry experience, a proven track record in business growth and the ability to navigate USDA/FDA regulatory demands.

Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, business development, operational oversite, financial oversite, regulatory strategy, team leadership, stakeholder engagement and innovation and R&D.

Qualifications include 10-15 years of executive leadership experience including P&L responsibility in a public company, in animal health, biotechnology or agriculture with a proven track record of scaling a business and driving profitability. Deep understanding of the animal health industry, biotechnology, product development and regulatory processes is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences or related field (MBA, PhD, or DVM) preferred. Exceptional ability to lead and motivate diverse teams with a collaborative and results-oriented approach to management. Strong financial management skills, including experience with P&L responsibility, fundraising and investor relations in a publicly traded company. Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic plans that drive growth, innovation, and market leadership. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, from scientific teams to investors and customers.
