Director of Marketing-Equity Opportunity

Director of Marketing-Equity Opportunity: (Northeast US) This is primarily a strategic role for a rapidly growing Animal Health company. You will have the opportunity to put your finger prints on a product launch that will make a difference. You will be instrumental in bringing a new product to the market, one that has not been seen  before. This is an opportunity to build a marketing team. In this role the incumbent will interface with customers, work with legal, work closely with the Director of Sales and the CEO on the strategy on bringing a new product to the market. For the right person, long term, there could be opportunity to grow beyond this role. The biggest challenge in this role is that no one has ever used a product like this before. This is an opportunity to create your own destiny.

Qualifications:  15+ years of marketing experience with Animal Health marketing experience, experience with surgical products. Having experienced with surgical products is critical for this role. Our ideal candidate is someone who has been in a corporate marketing role who has seen as much of the product lifecycle as possible, someone with a technical background with experience working in an FDA regulated environment. It helps to have a scientific technical background. We need someone who can talk science and we are looking for someone with experience in product positioning. There is less emphasis on branding in this role. We need someone who can understand sales channels. The company does work with a distribution partner. We need someone who can build products and are looking for someone with product development experience. Someone with entrepreneurial experience that has also worked in a large corporate environment would be ideal. There is no remote option with this position. This person will be required to work out of the corporate office. This is an essential business and the office is currently open.
