Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in animal science, business or marketing 10+ years of animal health sales experience, 2+ years of sales management experience, strong organizational skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced intense environment. The successful candidate will have an understanding of marketing concepts and practices. There is a 50-75% travel requirement.
Distribution Manager-The incumbent is responsible for the business relationship between sales and marketing as well as the distribution partner. The incumbent will leverage resources and departments to drive profitable revenue growth. The incumbent will be the point of contact for the assigned distributor and will coordinate efforts to drive sales through the distribution partner. The incumbent will work with distribution sales, marketing and inventory directors and managers. The incumbent will track, monitor and coordinate the processing of rebates, reimbursements or other payments for the assigned distributor and will mentor sales managers on how to work with distribution representatives. The incumbent will work within a budget and will develop, obtain and provide metrics to monitor distributor engagement and success.
