Head of Veterinary Services

Head of Veterinary Services (Part Time, could go full time later, Remote with some travel)

We are seeking a Head of Veterinary Services. As a senior team member, you will be responsible for leading the corporation’s veterinary activities. Work is related to feline diabetes. This position is currently part time but may go to full time later. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Providing medical oversight of clinical studies (Clinical & Regulatory Activities)

• Participating in analysis of clinical study data and study report drafting
• Developing medical perspectives on the safe and effective use of drug candidates
• Communicating with regulatory agencies

Participating in internal customer support systems and development

• Building veterinary components of pharmacovigilance and adverse reporting capabilities
• Participating in adverse event reporting to regulatory agencies

Developing relationships with key opinion leaders (Commercial)

• Participating in and facilitating webinars / seminars

Participating in new business development discussions and opportunity assessments

This position is remote, but some travel may be required (post pandemic)

Compensation: Hourly; to be mutually agreed upon

Qualifications: Veterinarian with experience in endocrinology, experience with clinical studies and working with the FDA
