Business Development Associate – Southeast.

The Business Development Associate will play a critical role in generating leads and building a pipeline of potential partnership opportunities. The incumbent will generate partnership leads for the company through cold calling efforts. The incumbent will handle outbound partnership prospect qualification and account research and will manage and maintain the prospect database, ensuring accuracy and integrity. The incumbent will build a deep pipeline of future partnership opportunities and will work closely with business development to generate and qualify new leads as well as closing partnership transactions. The incumbent will manage outbound mailing program and track response rates and will assist in additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications include:  A strong desire and passion for sales and business development. The successful candidate will have experience cold calling small businesses, experience in an outside sales role, selling advertising, direct mail and/or digital marketing products and/or services. Prior experience at a veterinary support organization is a plus. Healthcare and/or facilities-based financial management background is a plus.  The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate, both written and orally, with a leadership approach, excellent time management and organization skills and ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
